I Will Take Care Of Everything
A conversation between Caleb Breedlove, guest; and Devaughn Williamson, host.
Caleb's story is one of faith, family, and resilience. Growing up, he witnessed his parents’ powerful faith amidst hardship, which deeply shaped his journey. His mom was diagnosed with cancer, and Caleb vividly remembers watching her endure the pain of surgery, radiation, and bedridden days. Yet through it all, her faith remained unshaken, becoming the spiritual backbone of their family. Caleb recalls how they always seemed to have what they needed, even when finances were tight, and how they witnessed miracles—like finding money when they needed it or even seeing their food seemingly multiply to feed unexpected guests.
His mother’s conviction that God would provide became the family’s anchor, and those moments left a lasting impact. Later, while Caleb was attending college, his father also battled cancer. Caleb’s mother, again led by her unwavering faith, insisted on tests that revealed a tumor missed by doctors, guided only by what she felt was the Holy Spirit’s voice. Caleb witnessed these miraculous moments and learned that faith isn’t just about beliefs but is strengthened through trials and the resolve to trust in God’s promises.
Now, as a father of three himself, Caleb continues to live out his commitment to faith and ministry. Moving to Tulsa to attend Oral Roberts University (ORU), he dove into the "prayer movement," committing countless hours to interceding and praying for his peers and campus, witnessing numerous miraculous events. He describes the atmosphere of the prayer gatherings as transformative, where students would crowd in, filling the space with expectant faith and worship. Healings, deliverances, and conversions were common, leaving a lasting impact on him and many others.
Caleb describes how they began their mission in an area with high crime rates, determined to spread hope through prayer and gospel outreach. Their goal was to offer an alternative for people hesitant to attend traditional Sunday services by creating midweek gatherings, where families could find community, be spiritually challenged, and learn about faith in a welcoming setting. They did this consistently over months, with regular gatherings and campaigns of prayer and fasting, eventually gaining traction and community interest.
At the heart of their mission was the dream of having a permanent building dedicated to worship and training others in faith-based community service. They saw the space as more than a building—a place where God’s presence could dwell, a hub for prayer and worship that could impact Tulsa and beyond. However, they faced times of solitude and doubt. Caleb recalled times when he would open the doors at 6 a.m. to an empty room and wondered if he was on the right path. Yet, he found peace in his private moments of prayer, feeling reassured that he was growing closer to God and receiving strength to keep going, despite the challenges.
After much persistence, they found a building they felt was “made for us,” and their efforts were unexpectedly blessed by a $220,000 seed donation from an international church leader, Pastor Kayanja from Uganda. This came just when they were struggling with how they’d make their first building payment. The donation marked a huge step forward and, alongside other community contributions, allowed them to begin the setup of their new prayer and worship center.
In time, donations from near and far poured in, fueling the growth of this prayer house. People provided chairs, instruments, and more—unified by the vision of a place dedicated to worship, community building, and mission work. Caleb’s journey underscores the power of persistence and faith, as well as the importance of building relationships, both with God and the community around him.
Today, Caleb and his team continue their work, inviting others to join in prayer, contribute resources, or simply come and witness the space they’re building. His advice to his younger self would be to “Be still, be quiet, be at peace.” This has been a mantra guiding him through both the quiet moments of uncertainty and the joyous times of progress.
